Abstract
Ushbu maqolada urbanoflora tadqiqotlarining nazariy asoslari, shakllanish bosqichlari va metodologik yondashuvlari keng tahlil qilingan. Xalqaro tajribalar hamda Yevropa, Amerika va Osiyo davlatlarida o‘tkazilgan
ilmiy izlanishlar natijalari ko‘rib chiqilib, ularning shahar muhitida biologik xilma-xillikni saqlashdagi o‘rni
yoritilgan. Shuningdek, O‘zbekistonning Toshkent, Namangan, Andijon va Buxoro shaharlarida olib borilgan tadqiqotlar asosida urban flora tarkibi, adventiv va mahalliy turlar nisbatlari hamda antropogen omillarning floristik tarkibga ta’siri o‘rganilgan. Natijalar shuni ko‘rsatadiki, urbanizatsiya jarayoni shahar
o‘simliklarining ekologik xususiyatlari va tur boyligiga sezilarli darajada ta’sir ko‘rsatmoqda. Ushbu ish urban ekologiyasi, shaharsozlik va tabiatni muhofaza qilish sohalarida muhim ilmiy-amaliy ahamiyatga ega
bo‘lib, kelgusida shahar florasining monitoringi va barqaror rivojlanishini ta’minlashga xizmat qiladi.
